Aesthetic dentistry

The aim of aesthetic dentistry is to restore a harmonious overall appearance to the teeth. To this end, the focus is initially on function, which should be restored and optimized while taking aesthetic aspects into account. However, only necessary interventions and corrections should be carried out in which as little tooth structure as possible is sacrificed. A clear distinction must be made here from cosmetic dentistry, which is only concerned with appearance and cosmetics.
